MoneyPrinterTurbo is a free, MIT-licensed tool that generates a complete high-definition short video from a single topic or keyword. It writes the script with a large language model, matches stock footage to it, generates a voiceover, adds subtitles and background music, and outputs a vertical video sized for TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts. It runs on your own machine on Windows, macOS or Linux, through either a web interface or an API, and it can be installed with Docker or as a Python project.

Who this is not for

Is it actually free?

The software is MIT licensed and free. You still pay for the language model API and, depending on the provider, the stock footage and text-to-speech.

Is the documentation in English?

The default README is Chinese. There is an English version at README-en.md in the same repository.

Can I use the videos commercially?

That depends entirely on the footage, music and voice sources you configure, not on the tool. Verify each provider's licence before monetising anything.

Will these rank on YouTube or TikTok?

Treat that with scepticism. Platforms have become explicit about demoting mass-produced, undifferentiated uploads. It is a useful tool for drafts and volume tests, not a growth strategy.
